The government delegate to the Yaoundé City Council Gilbert Tsimi Evouna while opening the annual “Yaoundé en fete” (Yafe) feast at the Yaoundé conference centre, exalted Cameroonians to showcase the core values of a peaceful co-existence in the country.
Gilbert Tsimi Evouna officially opened the 13th edition of the exhibition on December 17.
Present at the opening ceremony of the feast were some government officials like Issa Tchiroma Bakary and his counterpart of youth affairs and civic education Pierre Ismael Bidoun Mkpatt
During the opening ceremony, Mr Tsimi Evouna said the feast is an opportunity for Cameroonians to savour made in Cameroon prices at affordable prices.
The occasion which is ongoing in the courtyard of the Yaoundé conference centre is characterised by fun as well as the promotional sales of products made in the country.
This year, the event with objective to see families, friends and individuals to have fun as well as give traders the opportunity to sell their products is divided into four parts including exhibition and sales amongst others.
The ongoing event which has brought together several traders from the national territory will run till January 6, 2019.
