Cameroon have qualified for the UNIFFAC cup semi finals, after beating Sao Tome Principe 2-1 in their second group A match.
This comes after the lions played a 1-1 tie against Chad in their first game. The second encounter which was against Sao Tome took place at the Yaounde Military Stadium from 3:30pm.
Although Cameroon ended up winning, it is Sao Tome that opened scores at the 41st minute through Danilson Eusebio whom with a header overpowered the Cameroonian goalkeeper Nomo Onguene.
In the second half, Coach Thomas Libih and his baby lions came back strong and at the 59th minute, Amah Awono levelled scores for Cameroon.
Few minutes later, particularly at the 62nd minute, the second goal was scored for Cameroon, and still by Amah Awono.
