The newly elected president of the Cameroon Football Federation Seidou Mbombo Njoya has this December 18 in Yaoundé promised that his executive will work hard, to promote good governance and the respect of ethics in the federation.
He was speaking during their installation ceremony at the Yaoundé multi-purpose sports complex where he also said there was no time for quarrels and called for the return of unity to what matters most which to him is the furthering of football talents in the country.
Mbombo Njoya also said he had an ambitious program to revive football in the country and will continue with the reforms initiated by the normalisation committee, while perusing collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and physical education.
Many Cameroonians including Dieudonne Happi, the president of the Fecafoot normalisation committee which has been at the helm of affairs at the federation for the past 15 months have expressed hope that, the executive will usher in a period of stability in the federation that usually comes along with better results for the country’s football.
Present at the installation ceremony was a representative of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education as well as a cross section of football stakeholders in the county.
