The Director General of the Cameroon Radio Television-Crtv, has launched the entrance examination into the Institute for the Preservation of Audio-Visual Heritage, IFCPA for the 2019-2021 academic year.
The event which took place this 25th April 2019 was part of a week-long Open Door Days organized by the institution since Monday, 22nd April 2019.
The President of the Constitutional Council , Clement Atangana was guest of honour at the ceremony .
On the occasion guests paid tribute to great artists including Daniel NDO whom Mr. Charles Ndongo said, Daniel Ndo is amongst those who has contributed to the increasing Crtv’s audio-visual prominence.
The 72-year-old multi-talented artist presented some of his works, especially those performed at the start of his career in the late 60s.
Daniel Ndo, who is also a lecturer at the institution, encouraged students to take interest in studying Drama Arts as a profession.
IFCPA: The institution’s Disciplines
Following the launch of the entrance examination, students will be seeking places in the following available disciplines.
Back-Pack Journalism, graphics and Multimedia studies, Computer Graphics, Cartoons, Audio-visual archives, Production, Audio-frequency, Shooting and lighting, Video editing and graphics, Maintenance, Transmission and Broadcasting.
The Institute for the Preservation of Audio-Visual Heritage has trained over 1600 professionals since 1983 when the school was created.
