Traditional rulers of the Littoral region this Tuesday called on President Paul Biya to stand as candidate ahead of the upcoming Presidential elections in Cameroon.
This sounds as an ardent unanimous call made each time the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji meets with Traditional rulers wherever they are in the national territory.
In effect, after a tete a tete discussion with Minister Atanga Nji, the custodians of the Sawa tradition pledged in a declaration readout by their representative, President of the Ngondo, His Majesty Salomon Madiba Songue, their complete allegiance to the State of Cameroon.
During the event which took place at the Douala city council this Tuesday April 10, Cameroon News Today-CNT learned that the Sawa chiefs also used the opportunity to condemn the escalation of violence in the English speaking regions.

It’s worth recalling that the Minister had ordered the closure of some arm stores all over Cameroon in a bid to curb its proliferation and availability in crisis zone.
The same call was made by Traditional rulers of the North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
