Two finance and economy related bills have been submitted to the National Assembly for scrutiny.
This was during a planery seating chaired on March 7, 2018 by the House Speaker Cavaya Yague Djibril. The two bills which are first to be tabled to the House since the March ordinary session of Parliament opened last Friday the 2nd are:
To authorise the President of the Republic to ratify the convention between the Government of the Republic of Cameroon and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the avoidance of double taxation of air transport companies with respect to taxes on income with capital
The second seeks to authorise the President of the Republic to ratify the agreement for the establishment of the African Legal Support Facility.
As Cameroon News Today- CNT gathered, the two bills which will be defended by the Minister of Finance and of the Economy, Louis Paul Motaze and Alamine Ousman Mey respectively, have been referred to the foreign affairs committee for scrutiny.
