The trial of Michelle Ndoki, one of the firebrand lawyers of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement of Professor Maurice Kamto has been postponed to December 4, 2018 by the Douala Court of First Instance.
Michelle Ndoki was initially expected to appear before the court on November 6, to answer for charges ranging from disregarding constituted authority, undermining state institutions, carrying out public demonstrations to holding illegal meetings.
However, due to the General assembly of the said court, the case has been postponed to the 4th of December at 7:30am.
Michelle Ndoki alongside 41 others was arrested and later released on Saturday October 7, for staging an anti-Biya protest in the Douala, Cameroon’s economic capital against what they termed “Electoral Holdup” to hand President Paul Biya another term of office.
