An encounter which took place at the Young Sports academy stadium, was one between two teams which are both battling to make it to the top.

For YOSA, their performance from the beginning of the season, even though not all that stable, is not that bad for a start.

They have played 12 games so far since the beginning of the 2018 edition of the Elite one championship, drawing in 6, losing one to Cotton Sport of Garoua, and winning 5 of them. For now, Young Sports are on the 5th position with 21 points.

The bottom team of the championship, Aigle Royale of Menoua on their part, had their second win of the season after beating Eding FC 2-1 on Sunday 8 April 2018.

Reports have it that before the match against the Lekie side, the players of Aigle were assured of the sum of 75 000 FCFA each, if they emerged victorious.

Delay matches of day 13 will take place on Wednesday 11 April 2018. Stade Renard will lock horns with Bamboutos while Unisport Bafang is pitted against Coton sport.
