President Paul Biya and the French Ambassador to Cameroon Gilles Thibault, in an audience at the unity palace have among other issues discussed security concerns in both countries.

The close to three hour audience at the palace enabled President Paul Biya and the French ambassador to review a variety of issues of Franco- Cameroonian relations.
For close to three hours, the president and the diplomat equally reviewed topical issues of bilateral concerns.
The issues concerned include infrastructural development in Cameroon such as the imminent construction of the natigal hydro power dam.
Measures to pacify the restive North West and South West Regions of the country also made up part of the discussions between the president and diplomat.
The two leaders did not end their meeting without discussing security concerns in France as they talked on the persistent violence from protesters in the country which have led to a halt in many activities.
