Following the visit of an IMF review mission to Cameroon, it has been disclosed that the country is qualified for the disbursement of CFA 46 billion by the organization.
The revelation was made during a restitution forum which took place at the ministry of Finance, bringing together the Minister of Finance Louis Paul Motaze, the minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development Alamine Ousman Mey as well as their close collaborators.
During the forum, the head of the delegation revealed that all is now set for Cameroon to receive the CFA 46 billion from the IMF under the enhanced credit facility.
The IMF team during their stay in the country also reviewed the banking sector with structures like the bank for small and medium size enterprises which needs restructuring, a process which Minister Louis Paul Motaze says is on course.
