Heads of states in several countries around the world, have been sending their messages of congratulation to the winner of the October 7 presidential elections in Cameroon Paul Biya.
The most recent ones include Alpha Conde of Guinea Conakry, Xi Jinping the Chinese President and Macky Sall of Senegal.
To show his joy and delight in Paul Biya’s victory, Alpha Conde sent one of his statesmen Cheick Taliby Sylla, the Minister of energy and Hydraulics in Guinea Conakry, with word for the Cameroonian president.
During an audience which lasted 35 minutes Alpha Conde’s message was conveyed with wishes of more success to Mr Paul Biya, whose experience was lauded as one which could help Africa and Cameroon emerge.
China’s president on his part, sent a telegraph, congratulating the president-elect on behalf of the Chinese people.
Besides the other numerous messages sent to Paul Biya, Macky Sall of Senegal equally congratulated him, laying more emphasis on the tightening of their relationship.
