A free dental care campaign on the way in the Bamenda Regional Hospital has jot attended to many patients as ought to have.

“We have noticed a drop in the attendance and we think that it a s because of the sociopolitical crisis”, Chief of the Odontostomatology department at the Bamenda Regional Hospital confirmed to the CRTV.

Going by Dr Kalain, after consultation, instant treatment is given to those with emergency situations free of charge; ” We take care immediately with the first phase of treatment “, the Medic said.

As Cameroon News Today- CNT gathered, this free dental care campaign at the Bamenda Regional Hospital is said to provide a unique opportunity for those with dental complaints.

The campaign will run every Tuesday to the end of the April and medics advice oral hygiene be taken seriously to prevent any dental complications.

From every indication, the present sociopolitical upheaval is presenting nothing but pain and misery; the sick remain sick, the economy stagnant, live lost and many at risk.
