Cameroon have played a draw with Nigeria, in their qualifier match for the 2018 female U17 world cup.

They clashed against Nigeria, who were the home team, on Saturday 03 February. The two teams played their first leg match of the third round of qualifiers for Uruguay 2018.

Cameroon began the game by conceding a goal, netted by Vincent Precious.

The Lionesses struggled hard and scored an equaliser which was jetted in by Ngah Manga a few minutes later.

The fight continued for Cameroon who went ahead to take the lead before the end of the first half, with a goal scored by Florap Kameni.

In the second half, the Nigerians came up strong and levelled the scores and the match finally ended 2—2.

The two teams meet again in two weeks in Yaounde for the second leg game.
