A fire outbreak in the town of Kakatare in the Far North Region of Cameroon has ravaged commodities and homes.

A fire outbreak in the town of Kakatare in the Far North Region of Cameroon has ravaged commodities and homes.

Kakatare, Maroua  in the Sahel Region, witnessed a shocking fire incident in the morning of Friday 19 January 2018.

Affected residents of that locality, lost their merchandise, as well as homes to the flames. Cameroon News Today-CNT gathered that no lives were lost, in spite of the heavy property loss.

The material damage is estimated to amount close to 10 million FCFA.

This comes at a time when the two English speaking Regions of Cameroon have been battling with numerous cases of fire attacks.
