This year’s edition of the gathering raises special attention to start-ups as well as young entrepreneurs spread all over Cameroon.

The event dubbed National Day of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises will take place from December 19, to December 21, 2017 at the Yaoundé Conference Center.

The information was revealed in a press conference summoned last Thursday Dec 8, 2017, by Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, Minister of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, of Social Economy and Handcrafts assisted in the exercise by the Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary.

The said national day to hold under the theme “promoting entrepreneurship and innovative SMEs for a strong and inclusive growth” will be an opportunity to group experts, professionals and institutions, as well as all entrepreneurs, from all over the country in view of offering a reasonable exchange platform, to discuss the difficulties, the sector of entrepreneurship faces in the country.

According to the Minister Etoundi Ngoa, many youths spread all over the country have benefitted from the largest of the government, with most of them plying their activities in incubation centers financed by the Ministry of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.

Participants at the event should be ready to partake in conferences workshops-debates and seminars as well as B2B and G to B meetings and witness an award ceremony seeking to encourage young entrepreneurs, most of whom are found in incubation centers sponsored by government.

The grouping is expected to help the government make a profound and objective evaluation of policies on entrepreneurship in other to make our local enterprises much more competitive both locally and internationally.
